Recently, there’s been lots of talk about recovery and what can be done to revitalise our towns and communities. Hopefully, we’re now over the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Business Chamber is pleased to be taking a lead in helping North Tyneside Council develop its recovery programme.
The Chamber is getting ready to distribute an online survey to its members to understand what businesses and the community most need to get back on their feet. It has been written by consultancy firm People & Places.
They have extensive experience in conducting research into town centre performance and perceptions, businesses confidence, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, town centre action planning and delivery, and performance monitoring.
The surveys for North Shields cover three areas: North Shields Town Centre, Tynemouth and the Fish Quay. All Members and Associate Members will receive an email inviting them to take part. Businesses who aren’t currently members of the Chamber can take part by simply clicking on the name of the survey that corresponds to the location of their business.
Results from the survey will be analysed by them and then presented to the Council and other parties to guide their planning and recovery.
